The digital age is like "The Garden of Forking Paths" where a plethora of new possibilities have grown for people. There are no longer established boundaries between humanities, science, and technology. The course aims for introducing methods and tools of the Digital Humanities as they can be used in literary, historical, art historical, and cultural studies. Students will learn how to acquire humanities data, and apply data analysis, text mining, and visualization tools to explore a variety of research questions pertinent to the use, sharing, and presentation of humanities data. Students will also investigate the impact of AI within the humanities by learning to integrate AI tools and methodologies into their research projects.
