Digital Story telling with VR: A Walk in Kowloon City District
With the shops on Nga Tsin Wai Road in Kowloon City District facing demolition, our project aims to digitally preserve this local heritage. We, along with students, will utilize cameras or smartphones for photogrammetry to create 3D models of these iconic shops, ultimately integrating them into a VR experience. This method allows for a detailed and immersive digital preservation of the shops. Additionally, by conducting oral history interviews with shop owners, this approach captures not only the physical spaces but also the living stories they embody.
