The camera serves as both a documentary tool and a metaphorical border, framing the liminal space where two distinct entities meet. I try to capture the fluidity of water and the rigidity of border control, and invite viewers to contemplate the nature of boundaries and the ways in which they shape our understanding of place, identity, and belonging. Ultimately, the project suggests that borders, boundaries, and edges are as fluid as the water that defines them, subject to the ebb and flow of time, politics, and human experience.
